Force Majeure.

Classes will not be automatically cancelled because of weather conditions or disaster.  If there are extreme conditions affecting the class location area, such as tornado, flood, hurricane, earthquake, snow storm, natural disaster, or national or local emergencies such as terrorism, war, etc. Sherwood Test Prep will make the decision to cancel the class(es).  Classes will not be cancelled just because of normal poor weather conditions.  Sherwood Test Prep has the sole authority to determine if a class should be cancelled and whether a make-up class will be offered, if any.

Free Repeat Policy.

Our courses are guaranteed with a Free Repeat.  The conditions:

(1) We do not require an explanation for you to exercise your Free Repeat.  You may use it if you would like to repeat certain weeks of the course or to take the entire course again.  There are no scoring requirements to exercising your Free Repeat.

(2) You have only One Free Repeat.

(3) This repeat is only good for the course type that you registered under (e.g., if you registered for a GRE course you may only repeat a GRE course).

(4) The Free Repeat is only valid for the consecutive session.  This is our next advertised start date for your particular course.  The Free Repeat is not good for courses offered after your consecutive session.  For some tests your Free Repeat will be before you know your exam scores.

(5) You may repeat the course at any available location.

(6) We cannot guarantee the availability of a course or location for your Free Repeat.  If an advertised course is not offered in your area for the consecutive session then you will not have a Free Repeat available.  No refund will be given to students for unavailable courses.  Some Examples to clarify:

              (a) If you take a LSAT Course in Reno, NV and would like to repeat it, but the consecutive session is

not offered you will not have a Free Repeat available, and will not qualify for any additional Free

Repeats should a course be available in the future.

              (b) If you take a GMAT Course in Moscow, ID and would like to repeat it, but the consecutive

session is not offered you may drive to another location, e.g. Spokane, WA to repeat the

course if it is offered.  There is no guarantee that another local location will be offered.

              (c) If you take a CBEST Course in Eugene, OR and would like to repeat it, but the consecutive

session is not offered, although the next session after the consecutive session is offered, you

will not have a Free Repeat available.  Even though in this scenario the course might be the next

subsequent course offered after your original course, it was not the consecutive course, and

does not qualify as a Free Repeat.

(7) If you would like to repeat the course outside the conditions of our Free Repeat policy you must re-enroll and pay the full course fee again (e.g., if you want to repeat at a later date in the year, etc.)

(8) Under no circumstances will we make an exception to our Free Repeat Policy.

(9) All Free Repeat requests must be made at least one week prior to the start of the consecutive session.  Students must make this request through our website at: www.sherwoodtest.com/repeat.  Requests will be processed and confirmation notices given within a 72 hour period.

10) Please note that Free Repeat courses are the exact same course as your original offering with no modifications.  Most times they will have the same instructor.  Course materials are not re-issued for the Free Repeat.

Course Materials and Distribution.

Course materials are distributed at the first class.  We do not mail materials out to students before classes begin.  Course materials are not for sale outside of our classroom offerings.  All course materials are included in the course cost.  The materials distributed at the first class are comprehensive and are for the entire course.

Course Materials for students Adding Late or for those who will miss their First Class.

We do not mail out course materials to students who add late or who miss their first class.  Students will only receive the course materials at their first class (which in these circumstances is the second class of the course).  Course materials cannot be picked up from the instructor or the class venue.  There are no exceptions to this policy.

Course Discounts, Registering Multiple Students,  and Returning Student Policy.

Due to our low-cost structure we are unable to offer any further discounts on top of our already low course costs.  There are no discounts for taking two courses simultaneously.  We do not offer multiple student discounts to those who are registering at the same time with friends, brothers/sisters, twins, or family members, etc.  There are no discounts for returning students who take the course again at a later date or for those who take another type of course (e.g., first course is the GRE, second is the GMAT).

Course Registration and Payment.

All courses must be paid in full before class start.  We accept registrations via our webpage 24 hours a day or by phone at (866) TEST-PREP, Monday thru Friday from 10am - 5pm.   We do not accept payments at the door and course instructors cannot take payments.   We do not have a payment plan nor do we accept partial payments.   We accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Discover.  You may also pay by check by printing out this check form.  Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.  There is no registration deadline before the class start date.  We suggest that you register as early as possible to secure your seat in class.

Attending Classes at Alternate Locations.

Sherwood Test Prep offers its courses on the same date/time schedule in over 100 cities nationwide.  If a student misses a class due to travel obligations, and is traveling to one of the other cities in which Sherwood Test Prep holds classes, the student is welcome to attend class in an alternate location.  Please inform us of your desire to attend another location by e-mailing us at: customerservice@sherwoodtest.com.  Advanced notice is required.  We can’t guarantee that there will be an available class location for the desired transfer city.  Please note that all courses nationwide are offered on the same days and times.  If you cannot make a class at your normal time and date you will miss all nationwide class locations on that specific time and date.  Although there are minor differences between class schedules and instructors amongst our various locations, class schedules are designed to be uniform throughout our nationwide offerings.

Customer Cancellations and Refunds.

To keep course costs low we only provide refunds under limited circumstances.  Upon registration, $125 of your course fee automatically becomes a non-refundable administrative fee; this is included in the price of every course.  If you decide to cancel prior to the Tuesday before the scheduled start date of your course we will refund your course fee minus the $125 non-refundable administrative fee.  Beginning the Tuesday before the scheduled start date of your course there are no refunds of your course fee should you decide to cancel or not attend.  If you decide to cancel during this period or do not show up to your first class start date Sherwood Test Prep will place a credit on file for you to take a course within 6 months of your original course start date.  Only a credit will be issued and this credit is non-transferable; no refunds will be given.  Once you have attended your first class, there are no refunds of your course fee.

Test Registration Fees.

Sherwood Test Prep is not responsible for any fees associated with students' examination test registration.  These fees are independent of our products and registration for the tests are through the test makers, not Sherwood Test Prep.  Sherwood Test Prep is not responsible for any examination test registration fees should we decide to cancel a course offering.  Our course offerings are not related in any way and are independent to you scheduling, paying for, or taking a test.

Company Course Cancellation Policy and Class Availability.

Sherwood Test Prep makes every effort to ensure that our advertised classes are offered as scheduled.  Sometimes certain circumstances necessitate a course cancellation (e.g., instructor illness, low course enrollments, conference room availability).  Sherwood Test Prep reserves the right to cancel a course without prior notice, although every effort will be made to notify students as soon as possible.  In the event that a course is canceled, students may choose to enroll in the next available course, attend an alternate location or receive a full refund.  Although we do our best, we cannot guarantee our course offerings.

Course Times, Locations and Instructors.

Course location e-mails are sent the Thursday before the course start date.  Sherwood Test Prep will not be held responsible for any student that does not know the time or location of his or her class.  All course times, locations and instructors are subject to change at any time.  Sherwood Test Prep does not disclose specific instructor information and teaching assignments to prospective students.  Students will be notified of any and all changes made to their course via their email address provided to Sherwood Test Prep at the time of registration.

Late Additions.

Students may add-in late to a course that has already commenced.  There is a $25 late registration fee. Late registrations are accepted through the Friday before the second weekend of class.  Course materials will not be shipped to students who register late nor can they be picked up from the instructor or the class venue.  Students will only receive the course materials at their first class (which for late additions, is the second class of the course).  No late additions are allowed after the second week of our courses; we ask that you register early for the next session.  If you decide to register late please check the course syllabus for what you will be missing.  Course fees become non-refundable upon registration, including the additional $25 late registration fee, and there are no refunds once you have attended your first class.  Upon registration you will be added to the course roster and your instructor will be notified that you are entering the class.  Students can meet briefly (up to 15 minutes) with their instructor after their first class to catch up on what they have missed the first week.

Class Make-Up Policy.

Sherwood Test Prep offers four options to students who are unable to attend one or more weeks of their course.  Sherwood Test Prep will not grant any type of refund to a student who misses a class, but does encourage each student to utilize one of the following options:

1) Students can make-up a class at another location if it is available, but all locations have the same dates and times.  If you cannot make a class at your normal time and date you will miss all nationwide class locations on that specific time and date.

2) Students can meet briefly (up to 15 minutes) with their instructor before or after another class to catch up on what they have missed.

3) Students can exercise their Free Repeat and repeat a class week the next session.  We can’t guarantee course availability for this option.  Please see our Free Repeat Policy for more details.

4) Students can start a course out of sequence if needed (e.g., Begin Week 2 and complete through Week 6, then take Week 1 at the start of the next session).  We cannot guarantee the availability of a future course if you decide to take the course out of sequence.

At the time of registration you can notify us of any class you will be missing, and we can put a notation on your file for the course instructor.

Students receive all of their course materials on their first day of class.  This allows students to know which topics they will be missing and which homework assignments to complete.

Instructors cannot and Company will not provide additional hours, tutoring, or a full make up of missed classes.  Sherwood Test Prep cannot afford to offer this service because of our low cost structure.  Students who are absent cannot have a 3rd Party sit in on the class for them to take notes, etc.

Sherwood Test Prep does not recommend missing more than 2 classes.

Transfers and Registration Postponement.

Before Your First Class
If you decide to postpone your enrollment before your first class, you may transfer to any course that has a start date within 6 months of your original course start date without penalty.  However, the entire tuition paid for your course becomes automatically non-refundable.  We cannot guarantee any future course or location.

While your Course is in Progress
There are no transfers of enrollment once you have attended your first class.  If you need to postpone your course, you may exercise your Free Repeat and begin the course again on the consecutive start date.  Please see our Free Repeat Policy terms and conditions for more information.

Company Transfers
If you agree to a course transfer with us because we have cancelled your originally scheduled course, then the transferred course enrollment policies are the same as if you had originally registered for that particular course.

Private Tutoring.

Sherwood Test Prep does not offer private tutoring.  None of our instructors can provide additional tutoring services outside our courses.

Transferability of Registrations.

Course Registrations are non-transferable.  You cannot assign your registration to another student, friend, colleague, etc.
